Visited Shreya at the library today. : D It made me smile.
She had me read "Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus". I tell you...that book is genius. I LOVE it. Yay Mo Willems.


A bit sad...Applefest was seriously a 5 minute walk away from the library. So before we left...
Me: Mom...can I just walk down to Applefest and just go for like an hour?
Mom: And then what? How will you get home?
Me: ...Can you pick me up?
Mom: No. It's too late, Applefest is almost over anyway.
Damnit. So...assuming that timing was the only issue here, I could have still gone this morning and been the pancake. I'm irritated. Very very very irritated. I wouldn't have been so damn irritated if this wasn't the last year I'm here for Applefest, but there you have it.
