Happy Halloween.
Funny how it doesn't quite feel like Halloween.
This was the second weekend in a row I went to something Jewish. This weekend was the biannual...thing...not sure what it's purpose was but the synagogue band played at it so my family and all the other band families whent to Rhode Island. Good times. Me, Jo, Joe, Max, Ben, Emmett, Tim. Chilling in the hotel. Killing time till dinner, killing time till the boys helped set up the band stuff, killing time before the service.
"Ooooh, are you with the Jewish people?"
"...Yeah."
"Oh, okay then."
Ben: You are the most stereotype person I know. You vegetarian...lactose intolerant...homosexual...vegan...
Max: Vegetarian.
Ben: Vegetarian...
Max: Mexican Jew.
Ben: Yeah.
The place we went to for lunch today had a boca club sandwich on the menu. "A meatless burger with bacon, lettuce, and tomato."
Bacon?
Me: Yeah, yeah, I have question about the boca burger. Why does it come with bacon?
I got to take pictures of the band with my dad's new digital camera thing. 67 pictures. Good thing it was a digital.
After the band played at the service this morning, me and Max sold CD's. We had no cash box, no change, no way of recording sales or anything. We stuffed 20 dollar bills in our pockets, tried to get people to give exact change, hunted for singles when they didn't. We sold a lot of CD's though. More than Josh and I ever did Sunday mornings.
AZ Update: First appointment for showing the house is a week from tomorrow.
