I changed the sand in the Mallow and Uber Ralph's tank before I brought them to Shreya today. It was infested with fruit flies and smelled funky. So now they have some nice, new, clean, not smelling funky sand.

Shreya my love, there's a couple things I forgot to tell you about the hermit crabs...
Uber Ralph likes to climb up the walls of the tank. He'll get up to the lid and then have no clue what to do next, so he'll have to be rescued. And if you're holding either of them, don't hold them over, say, a tile floor, because if they fall, that would be very not good. And I'll pick them up sometime next Sunday, not sure exactly when, I'll give you a call.

You can get a 40 lb bag of sand for 3.99+ tax at Katz's. w00t. But now I still have about 2/3 of a 40 lb bag of sand sitting in the shed.
